    About Baher Bakr

Baher Bakr (b. 1981) is an Egyptian artist working in the field of sculpture where he explores the idea of transformation. Inspired by the irrepressible forces and processes of life, Bakr’s practice celebrates change and the cycles of life. Typically working in polyester, Bakr’s sculpture operates in the realm of modern abstraction where rounded biomorphic forms capture the idea of life in metamorphosis.
